PAHALGAM INCIDENT: INDIAN AGGRESSION AND PAKISTAN RESPONSE

In this article, the focuses on the 2025 India-Pakistan war starting from the incident at Pahalgam and discusses the claim that India has used a false flag tactic for the attack and pinned blame on Pakistan. The paper continues by discussing the military actions of India through the launch of Operation Sindoor and discusses the impact of Indian media on the conflict. Conversely, the military strategy used by Pakistan through Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos is discussed. The paper also examines the part played by the international community, especially the diplomatic involvement of the United States and the geostrategic value of China in the 2025 dispute. Also, it is stated that both India and Pakistan used modern military technology and sophisticated weaponry. The research uses a qualitative research methodology with a mixed-methods approach to make a thorough study of the conflict. Moreover, the research includes a comparative study of the media representations of India and Pakistan in relation to their information strategy. The research makes an evaluation of the strategic advantages of Pakistan in the 2025 conflict in the military and information spheres.
