Abstract

Human health is a fundamental theme in Islamic paradigm, where the Quran and Sunnah provide a comprehensive framework for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This research explores the dual nature of health-related guidance in Islam: legislative injunctions (Tashri'i) that define the boundaries of lawful (Halal) and unlawful (Haram), and practical methodologies (Amali) exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The study emphasizes that Islamic teachings predated modern preventive medicine by centuries, establishing protocols for hygiene, dietary moderation, and social conduct that are essential for the preservation of human life (Hifz al-Nafs). Furthermore, the research analyzes the integration of spiritual practices with physical health, illustrating how acts of worship like prayer and fasting contribute to physiological and psychological stability. By examining the Prophetic traditions (Tibb al-Nabawi), the study highlights the importance of seeking professional medical treatment while maintaining faith in Divine healing. The objective is to demonstrate that the Islamic approach to health is holistic, scientific, and timeless, providing a sustainable model for public health and individual vitality in the contemporary era.
