The political role of Sufis is of great need and importance because on the one hand, people generally believe that Sufis had nothing to do with worldly wealth and politics and that they were always engaged in remembrance and worship purely for the sake of Allah's pleasure. On the other hand, if we look at the general attitude of Sufis towards government and politics, it is clear that many caliphs and Sufis have stood up to the rulers of their time. Although the era of the sixth century AH was a period of political glory and splendor for the Muslims, inwardly, moral decline and spiritual stagnation had shaken the Ummah. In such a situation, the emergence of Hazrat Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani came in the form of a revivalist awakening. He not only revived the pulpit and the mihrab but also awakened the hearts. His speeches were not just a series of words, but conveyed messages to the depths of the soul. Syed Abdul Qadir Jilani guided the nation at a time when it was immersed in the errors of disbelief. The Qadiriyya order is attributed to Abdul Qadir Jilani and its origins date back to the eighth Imam.
