Abstract

The relationship between religion and knowledge has been a subject of significant historical, philosophical, and theological debates. This paper examines the historical dynamics between religion and science, focusing on how religious paradigms have shaped and influenced scientific inquiry throughout history. We explore the complex interplay between religious beliefs and the quest for knowledge, highlighting both the tensions and synergies between the two. The historical trajectory reveals the shifting attitudes toward knowledge within religious communities and the institutionalization of scientific research.
