Abstract

This research paper presents an analytical study of the pedagogical and preaching dimensions in the exegetical notes of Maulana Qazi Abdul Hadi Rustami on Surah Yusuf. The study explores how Maulana Rustami interpreted the Qur’anic narrative of Prophet Yusuf (A.S.) as a comprehensive model of moral training, spiritual purification, social reform, and wisdom. His exegetical methodology reflects a balanced combination of Tafsir bil-Ma’thur, linguistic explanation, narrative style, ethical instruction, and practical guidance for individual and collective reform.
