Abstract

The article analyzes key historical events such as the Crusades, the Thirty Years' War, and the religious wars in the Indian subcontinent. It concludes that religious factors, while often intertwined with political ambitions, have had a substantial effect on the dynamics of warfare and the shaping of modern nation-states.
