This interdisciplinary research article explores the psychological dimensions of human behavior through the lens of the Prophetic biography (Sīrah al-Nabawiyyah). It investigates how the teachings and practices of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ offer profound insights and practical solutions to a wide range of psychological issues recognized in modern psychology, including stress, depression, anger, guilt complex, inferiority and superiority complexes, addiction to intoxicants, suicidal ideation, emotional instability, and social anxiety. The study reveals that the Prophet’s ﷺ approach to these emotional and behavioral challenges was rooted in emotional intelligence, empathy, patience, self-awareness, moral clarity, and psychosocial rehabilitation—traits that align closely with contemporary therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Guilt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and holistic psycho-spiritual care. The Sīrah provides a dynamic and integrative model of psychological well-being that transcends time and cultural boundaries. The Prophet’s ﷺ compassionate responses, gradual reform strategies, and emphasis on inner purification, social justice, and spiritual development serve as a practical framework for both individual healing and societal transformation. This article aims to demonstrate that the Prophetic Sīrah is not merely a historical or religious narrative but a comprehensive model of psychological therapy, offering timeless guidance for the restoration of mental health, emotional balance, and spiritual harmony. The study encourages scholars, psychologists, and educators to revisit the Sīrah with a modern psychological lens to derive meaningful strategies for contemporary challenges.
