Abstract

It is a fact that translating the Holy Qur'an is a very difficult task and not everyone is capable of it. The translation can be done by a person who is very proficient in the sciences of the Qur'an and is well acquainted with the use of proverbs and words in both the Arabic language and the language in which he wants to translate. Allama Haqqani is also one of the best Urdu writers and expert in Quranic sciences.
In this article, we want to review the proverbs of the translated text of the Holy Quran in  "Tafsir Fateh Al-Manan ". written by Allama Abu Muhammad Abdul Haq Haqqani Dehlvi.

 Although this Tafseer  was written in response to Sir Syed Ahmad Khan's "Tafsir-ul-Quran" and it refutes his false beliefs.
But this Tafseer also contains many other virtues, one of which is the excellent and idiomatic translation of the Holy Qur'an, due to which this commentary has a special significance.
