This study critically examines the following five prominent 15th-century (AH) Arabic Qur’anic exegeses:
1.Aysar al-Tafasir,2. Safwat al-Tafasir, 3.Al-Mu‘in ‘ala Tadabbur al-Qur’an al-Mubin,4. Hada’iq al-Ruh wa al-Rayhan, and 5. Al-Tafsir al-Wadih.
Using comparative and analytical methodology, the research highlights their distinctive approaches, methodological frameworks, and contemporary relevance. Findings indicate that these tafsirs effectively balance classical tradition with modern intellectual and social challenges, emphasizing accessibility, pedagogical clarity, and reform-oriented interpretation. The paper concludes that these works represent a significant evolution in Qur’anic exegesis, bridging tradition and modernity.
