In the contemporary age, where artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly intersects with the study and dissemination of knowledge, a critical re-examination of Islamic epistemology, exegesis, and ethics becomes imperative. This study undertakes a balanced reconstruction of Islamic knowledge systems through the lens of the ‘E’ entries in Brill’s Encyclopaedia of Islam, highlighting the intellectual frameworks, interpretive methodologies, and moral paradigms embedded in Islamic scholarship. By examining epistemological foundations, exegetical traditions, and ethical guidelines, the research identifies enduring principles and evolving applications of Islamic knowledge in socio-cultural, psychological, and global contexts. Furthermore, the integration of AI tools offers new pathways for analyzing classical texts, mapping thematic patterns, and enhancing scholarly engagement, while respecting the intrinsic normative and moral frameworks of Islam. The study underscores the relevance of bridging traditional Islamic sciences with modern computational methodologies, fostering a dynamic, informed, and ethically conscious discourse.
