This research examines the foundational principles of human society as articulated in the Qur’ān and the Sunnah, with particular emphasis on their relevance and applicability in the contemporary world. Islam presents a comprehensive and holistic framework for social life, grounded in core values such as justice, compassion, equality, cooperation, and moral responsibility. These principles are not merely theoretical; rather, they are practically demonstrated in the life and conduct of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, whose Seerah provides a timeless and universal model for both individual and collective behavior. The study critically analyzes these foundational values in light of modern challenges, including globalization, ethical relativism, social fragmentation, and the growing influence of secular ideologies. It argues that the perceived disconnect between religious teachings and modern societal structures arises primarily from misinterpretation and contextual misapplication, rather than any inherent inadequacy in the sources themselves. By drawing upon classical Islamic scholarship alongside contemporary academic discourse, this research adopts a contextual and analytical approach to explore how Qur’ānic and Prophetic principles can be effectively applied across key dimensions of human life, such as family structure, governance, social justice, and interfaith relations. The study ultimately demonstrates that the teachings of the Qur’ān and Sunnah offer not only enduring moral guidance but also practical solutions for addressing the complexities of modern society. It concludes that divine guidance remains profoundly relevant for the development of balanced, ethical, and sustainable human communities in the present age.
