Abstract

Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s philosophy of peace and progress, rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, emphasizes the integration of intellectual, moral, and spiritual development with practical action. He asserts that true progress extends beyond material prosperity, requiring ethical conduct, knowledge, and self-discipline at the individual level. Societal peace, according to Iqbal, emerges through tolerance, dialogue, and mutual respect, while national development relies on collective responsibility and the prioritization of community welfare. Youth, as agents of change, play a crucial role in promoting ethical values, social harmony, and constructive engagement. Extending his vision globally, Iqbal advocates interfaith understanding, justice, and ethical leadership as foundations for sustainable peace. Central to his thought is the belief that inner spiritual awareness fosters outward harmony, linking personal moral growth with societal and international stability. His philosophy offers a timeless framework for holistic human development, ethical governance, and enduring global cohesion.
