This study presents a comprehensive understanding of the interpretation of Islamic texts (the Qur'an and Hadith) in the context of rapidly evolving social, economic, and technological realities of the modern era. It examines how foundational principles such as Maqasid al-Shariah (objectives of Islamic law), ijtihad (independent reasoning), linguistic and historical analysis, and collective ijtihad can effectively address contemporary challenges. Furthermore, through selected case studies, the paper illustrates how Islamic jurisprudence can be applied to modern issues including digital finance, women's rights, contemporary state structures, and emerging technologies. The study concludes that while the core of Islamic texts remains eternal and unchanging, their application is inherently flexible and can be aligned with the demands of the modern world, provided it is approached through a sound methodological framework and a dynamic spirit of ijtihad.
