Abstract

This article explores the key religious concepts that emerged in ancient civilizations and their profound impact on societal development, cultural dynamics, and the shaping of social structures. Focusing on ancient religious practices and their integration into the social fabric of various ancient societies, the study examines the roles played by religious beliefs in shaping governance, societal norms, and cultural practices. Through the analysis of historical records, archaeological findings, and religious texts, the article offers insights into the influence of religious thought on the socio-political and cultural landscapes of ancient civilizations such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and the Indus Valley.
