Keywords:
Christianity, Islam, Comparative Religion, Historical Development, Theological FoundationsAbstract
This comparative study explores the historical and religious development of Christianity and Islam, two of the world’s largest religions. The paper examines the theological foundations, early historical contexts, and key transformative events in the development of both religions. By analyzing doctrinal differences and similarities, as well as the socio-political impacts of both faiths over time, this study seeks to shed light on their parallel evolutions. It focuses on the common themes of monotheism, prophecy, and scripture, while addressing divergent theological interpretations and the political ramifications of each religion’s spread across the globe. The research aims to provide a balanced understanding of both religions, contributing to interfaith dialogue and mutual understanding.
