Keywords:
Colonialism, Religion, Cultural Changes, Western Missionary ActivitiesAbstract
During the colonial period, Western missionary activities had a profound impact on indigenous beliefs, cultures, and social structures. This paper analyzes the role of Western missionaries and examines the effects of the spread of Christianity, particularly in the region of Pakistan, where diverse cultures and religions coexisted. It explores how missionary activities led to changes in indigenous beliefs, influenced social and cultural traditions, and fostered either religious harmony or conflict within local communities. The study presents these effects in a historical and cultural context, offering insights into the significance of religion during the colonial era.
