Keywords:
Faith, Empire, Ancient Civilizations, Religious InfluenceAbstract
The relationship between religion and empire-building has been a defining factor in the development of ancient civilizations. This paper explores how religious beliefs and institutions shaped the political, social, and cultural structures of early empires. By examining the role of religion in the formation of prominent civilizations, such as those in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, and Rome, this study highlights the ways in which faith provided legitimacy to rulers, reinforced social hierarchies, and influenced governance. The analysis also examines how religious ideologies were used to justify conquests and the expansion of empires, as well as how they affected the integration of diverse cultures within these empires.
