2025-07-16

The Study of Religion and History
The Study of Religion and History is a peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to explore the complex relationships between religious phenomena and historical contexts. We invite scholars, researchers, and academics to submit original papers for our upcoming issue, Vol. 3, Issue 2, to be published in 2025.

Aim and Scope

The Study of Religion and History aims to advance rigorous scholarly research that examines the dynamic relationships between religious traditions, historical developments, and cultural transformations across time and space. The journal seeks to provide an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, historians, theologians, philosophers, and scholars of the humanities to critically investigate how religious beliefs, institutions, and practices have shaped societies, political systems, intellectual traditions, and cultural identities throughout history.

The journal encourages innovative theoretical perspectives, comparative analyses, and historically grounded studies that illuminate the complex role of religion in shaping civilizations, social movements, ethical systems, and cultural narratives. It welcomes contributions that explore historical interpretations of sacred texts, religious institutions, interfaith interactions, and the socio-political impact of religious ideologies in both historical and contemporary contexts.

By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, the journal aims to deepen understanding of the historical evolution of religions, the intersection of faith and culture, and the intellectual traditions that continue to influence global societies. The publication promotes critical scholarship that contributes to academic discourse within the broader fields of arts, humanities, and social thought.
